Bvlgari Blv is an interesting fragrance, all notes come up as featured notes, the fragrance projects equally, however, they are dull, as opposed to crisp and easily recognizable. I felt obligated to wear Bulgari Pour Homme because to me it smells like the Platonic ideal of an expensive, flawlessly tailored and pressed suit. I have this fragnance with batch code for 2010 and i think this is so horrible, the opening and drydown were awful, nothing special at all. Bvlgari pour homme, now on the market a few years but always appreciated, as all products of the brand, the freshness of this fragrance is multiplied by the cube, the purity of the fragrance left on the skin by the spray until the end like a breath of wind Spring that brings with it the smell of flowers that are about to bloom, and the air is heated drying moisture of winter.

I've owned a considerable number and variety of fragrances, ranging from old-school to more contemporary ones. I can feel sandalwood with its sweet powdery smell beside the aromatic green notes but I'm not sure what is making BLV a soapy powdery perfume without any aldehydes, Iris or powdery accord. Flowers musk and woods are deftly entwined, without too much sweetness or spice, and only enough citrus to tease out the freshness of the prevailing tea accord. In my opinion a scent should stay just a few hours to accompany you in your daily journey but this wont , i love the elegant tea notes and must say its opening is gorgeous but in 30 minutes its gone . While we strive to provide accurate and helpful information, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy or reliability of the AI-generated pros and cons. The overall dna scent is absolutely pleasant but unfortunately can be considered unisex which this is undesired from my perspective. The person below me said it smelled like clean sheets which I thought was an odd way of describing a scent, but I just tried Blv and it's a spot on description. Lavender, spice, tonka and still that vetiver (listed as a basenote but it's pure vetiver in the opening, if you ask me).

Top notes are Tea, Aldehydes, Bergamot, Lavender, Nutmeg Flower, Orange Blossom and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Pepper, Iris, Guaiac Wood, Brazilian Rosewood, Coriander, Geranium, Cyclamen, Cardamom and Carnation; base notes are Musk, Vetiver, Cedar, Oakmoss, Amber and Tonka Bean.Bvlgari scents are usually well put together, however not one appeals to me, except for black perhaps and maybe some like this, that I haven't tried yet. I really wanted to like this and from all the reviews I was hoping that maybe I had just found my signature scent but alas it just didn't do anything for me and I'm still left signature-less.

There are some great notes in this fragrance and some standouts are: the tea and lavender in the opening, so soothing. I could see someone get a whiff of this by someone walking by them and just closing their eyes, and breathing in deeply. Seconds later, a massive hit of vetiver stopped me in my tracks and I stood with my nose glued to the card for about two minutes, inhaling the scent. Therefore, if you like oakmoss and you do not want something that smells too dated, this is for you. The scent may be considered a bit too fresh, with powerful flower and powdery notes, much of them resembling baby powder.I was interested in this because of the tea, but to my nose, at least, that note was pretty buried within it.

It seems like a mostly linear scent and once it settles down on your skin, what you smell is mostly what you get. Very nice opening but then what I think is a huge amount of iso e super takes over and I smell little else. It's one for the office or something serious, not one for play or romance (unless your other half particularly likes it, of course). Or, it could possibly be way too subtle 'only' to those who enjoy fragrances like Dior Fahrenheit, PR Black XS, Armani Attitude, TM A*Men, YSL Kouros, or Polo Black, simply because their olfactory sense has become accustomed to strong smelling fragrances with massive projection. The smell upon application is fresh , clean and soapy, but the biggest problem is there absolutely 0 sillage and 0 longevity.
